Former West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan is training with Leyton Orient, according to Sky Sports.
The thirty-three year old left the Hammers by mutual consent after over four years with the club, during which time he racked up over one hundred and fifty appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-one goals.
Prior to his move to Upton Park, Nolan spent two-and-a-half years at Newcastle United having been at Bolton Wanderers for over a decade.
Internationally, he has been capped twice for England’s U21s but has never been recognised at senior level.
It is not clear whether the midfielder is attempting to earn a contract with Ian Hendon’s side, who currently sit top of League One despite being thumped 4-0 by Exeter City last time out.
They are now second favourites behind fifth place Portsmouth to finish first in the fourth tier, and can be backed at a price of 7/2.
