You’d be forgiven for thinking the video you are about to see was just another FIFA glitch with the game just not letting you score a goal.

But it’s actually a real-life footage from a United Soccer League match between North Carolina and Charleston Battery when one of the funniest goalmouth scramble occured on Sunday night.

It was the seventh minute of injury time at a 1-1 lockdown when North Carolina threw an almighty charge towards the Charleston Battery goal only to see their efforts being frustratingly thwarted by – call it as you wish – a divine power, lack of luck/knowledge or anything else.
