Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are locked in the battle for Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe Lottin, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners were the first top side to express their interest in the 18-year-old footballer, but recently reports claim Spurs have joined the race as well.
This is hardly surprising given the standard of Mbappe’s recent performances, with a hat-trick in weekend’s triumph over Metz taking his tally to 7 league goals this season.
Likened to France legend Thierry Henry for his style of play, the talented forward has been attracting a lot of attention of late, and Monaco face a real battle to keep hold of their prized asset.
Mbappe scored 7 goals in less than 700 minutes of league football this term, which is an impressive achievement for a player who has just 10 starts in France’s elite division to his name so far.
