Competition: World Cup Qualifier
Market: NI to win against Azerbaijan
Odds: 3/4 @ Bet 365

Northern Ireland hosts Azerbaijan at Windsor Park in tonight’s World Cup Qualifier, and are favourites to pick up a much-needed three points to boost their hopes of a top-two finish in the group.

Michael O’Neill’s men have had a decent start in the qualifiers but need to ensure they get a win this evening to potentially go second in the group.

Northern Ireland are currently third in Group C with four points from their first three games, having drawn their opener to the Czech Republic before beating minnows San Marino. Germany beat Northern Ireland when the two sides met last month but NI are in good shape ahead of their meeting with Azerbaijan.

As for the visitors, Azerbaijan are surprisingly second in Group C with seven points from a possible nine. The away side have beaten San Marino and Norway, while drawing to the Czech Republic. Azerbaijan are yet to concede a goal in the qualifiers, but they will have a task getting a result at Windsor Park.

Northern Ireland boast two wins and a draw from their last three home games, and are being backed by Bet 365 with odds of 3/4 to see past Azerbaijan tonight as a result.
