Norwich 4/6 to beat Swansea in Friday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Norwich win

Odds: 4/6 @ Bet 365

With the chance to extend their buffer at the top of the Championship, high-flyers Norwich will welcome Swansea to Carrow Road on Friday night.

Starting with Daniel Farke’s side, coming off the back of a 3-1 win away at Millwall and extending their winning run to three matches, the mood in Norwich’s camp couldn’t be any higher. With the chance to extend their buffer at the top of the table to five points, one man to watch for the Canneries will be their leading goalscorer, Teemu Pukki. Finding the net against Millwall last time out, the 28-year-old already has 28 goals across all competitions this season, including nine in his last eight Championship appearances. It is also worth noting that when the two sides met back in November, the Yellows put four past Swansea and grabbed all three points.

As for this Friday’s visitors, while Swansea’s home form may have had Graham Potter’s side dreaming of a return to the top-flight, their form away from the Liberty has been a growing concern. Now sat way down in 14th and destined for another season in the Championship, the Welsh side have now failed to win any of their last four matches on the road, a run that stems back to New Year’s Day. Given Swansea’s poor record away from South Wales, we’re forecasting another very tricky night for Potter’s men on their trip to East Anglia.
