Norwich 6/5 to beat Ipswich and over 2.5 goals in Sunday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Norwich win and over 2.5 goals

Odds: 6/5 @ Bet 365

Looking to cement their position as a leading contender in the race for promotion, Norwich will host relegation favorites Ipswich on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with Daniel Farke’s side, putting three past Leeds and reclimbing back to the top of the Championship table, the mood in Norwich’s camp couldn’t be any higher. Now losing just one of their last 18 league matches, a run that stems back to the start of October, one man who should be relishing the chance to come up against Ipswich’s leaky defence is leading goalscorer Teemu Puki. Once again finding the net at Elland Road last weekend, the 28-year-old has now bagged three goals in his last three appearances. It is also worth noting that Norwich have now scored three or more goals in six of their last seven matches at Carrow Road.

As for Paul Lambert’s side, slumping to a 1-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, it’s no surprise Ipswich are the leading contenders for relegation from the Championship this season. Now losing their last three league matches on the bounce, it will be their recent defensive struggles giving the former Norwich boss the biggest headache. Already sat five points adrift at the foot of the table, the Blues’ 51 goals conceded is the worst record in England’s second-tier. Remarkably losing their last seven matches away from East Anglia, we’re backing another tricky afternoon for Lambert’s side.
