Norwich look set to bolster their attacking options with Swedish forward Johan Elmander, reports Voetbal International.
While staying without Grant Holt, the Canaries have signed Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper, but they, nonetheless, plan to add another attacker by the end of the transfer window.
And after their attempt to sign Ola Toivonen from PSV Eindhoven fell through, Norwich have turned their attention to Johan Elmander.
The Swedish forward has been a free agent since his contract at Turk Telekom Arena was rescinded last month, and it appears he is set for a Premier League return.
Elmander has been offered a contract by the Canaries and it is highly unlikely he will pass out the opportunity to return to the biggest stage.
The 32-year-old has spent three years playing for Bolton in the Premiership, making 92 appearances and scoring 18 goals in the process. He had previously featured for Brondby and Toulouse.
