Norwich make offer for Simone Zaza

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has claimed that Premier League side Norwich are keen on signing Juventus striker Simone Zaza.

The Canaries are in desperate need of winter reinforcements having slipped to the Premier League danger zone and they plan to lure the Italy international to Carrow Road in January.

According to Tuttosport, Norwich have offered to take Zaza on a loan deal until the end of the season.

However, while the striker is in need of regular first team football as he hopes to make Italy’s Euro 2016 squad, he does not think that a move to Carrow Road would be good for his career.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also against loaning out their player to a Premier League basement club, so it looks as though the Canaries will have to search elsewhere.

Since returning to Turin from Sassuolo, Zaza has made a total of eight competitive appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
