Premier League strugglers Norwich City are reportedly readying a January move on Sampdoria striker Eder, Sport Mediaset can reveal.
Having scored mere 18 goals in 16 league fixtures, the Canaries find themselves in the relegation zone and they are now in the market for attacking reinforcements.
According to Sport Mediaset, Norwich seem prepared to submit an official proposal for Sampdoria hotshot Eder, worth €10 million.
Inter were believed to be leading the chase for the Italy international, but the Canaries appear to have moved to the front of the queue.
Eder has been the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Blucerchiati, bagging 10 goals in 15 league outings.
The Brazilian-born striker did well to nail down a regular starting berth in the Italy national team, netting twice in the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
Eder also started three international friendlies for the Azzurri this year, meaning he is almost certain to be in the Italy squad for the European Championships finals.
