Nottingham Forest are confident of signing Giovanni Reyna from Borussia Dortmund in the final days of the January transfer window, according to HITC. The report has claimed that Marseille are keen on the USA international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, but Premier League club Forest are confident that they will get a deal done for him.
The report has claimed that Forest, who are in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season, have agreed a deal in principle to sign Reyna on loan for the rest of the season with an option to make it permanent in the summer of 2024. Marseille have matched that offer.
Reyna has made one start and nine substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Dortmund this season. He has also played 20 minutes in the UEFA Champions League for the German club this campaign.
