Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Mason Holgate from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Forest want to secure the services of the defender on a loan deal from the Toffees.
Everton manager Sean Dyche is willing to let Holgate leave on loan this summer, according to a report. The 26-year-old Englishman can play as a centre-back, right-back and central midfield, and has been linked with Leeds United and West Ham United in previous transfer windows.
The Toffees narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of last season. As for Forest, they managed to stave off relegation comfortably in the end and will be keen on finishing in mid-table in the Premier League next campaign. Holgate made five starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League and played once in the League Cup for Everton last season.
