Nottingham Forest want to sign Willian

Nottingham Forest are interested in signing former Chelsea and Arsenal winger Willian in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on Twitter that Forest are pushing to get a deal done with the Brazilian star on a free transfer.

Willian, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, spent last season at Fulham. The 34-year-old moved to the Cottagers on a one-year contract. The London club are keen on keeping the 34-year-old, but Premier League rivals Forest are now determined to bring him to the City Ground, according to Romano, who has added that clubs in Saudi Arabia are also interested in him.

During his spell at Fulham last season, Willian made 25 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League. The 34-year-old scored five goals and gave five assists in those games. Willian also made one start and two substitute appearances in the FA Cup for the Cottagers last season.
