November 10th: Sunday’s Premier League Double – 4/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

With the Premier League title chase already taking plenty of twist and turns, we have a hugely important Sunday schedule on the cards.

Watching Chelsea and Arsenal meet at Stamford Bridge for what is a heavyweight showdown, we have a quartet of Premier League showdowns.

For those of you looking to stick on a Sunday flutter, we have taken a glance at some of the most appealing Premier League betting tips.

14:00 Tottenham vs Ipswich

Suffering Europa League frustration earlier in the week as they fell to an action-packed 3-2 loss away at Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray, Tottenham are certainly seeking an immediate response here. Although Spurs might have shown some extended inconstancies this season, they have turned a domestic corner on either side of October’s international break. Springing a major EFL Cup upset last month as they clinched a 2-1 victory against Manchester City, Ange Postecoglou’s men have won nine of their previous 12 appearances across all competitions. Laying down a real marker last weekend as they mounted a sensational comeback in north London as they stormed their way to a 4-1 romp against Aston Villa, Tottenham are desperate to find route back into the top-four. Pencilled in as a landslide contender this weekend, it should also be highlighted that Spurs have won each of their last six straight appearances in front of their own supporters by an aggregate score of 17-4.

Hit with more last-gasp heartbreak last weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate at home against Leicester, Ipswich have a real struggle on their hands in the race to keep hold of their Premier League status. Although the Blues might have secured a famous top-flight return for this season, Kieran McKenna’s men are pencilled in as a leading relegation contender this time around. In fact, Sunday’s guests have failed to muster a single victory from any of their first 10 Premier League appearances so far this season. Signing off October with a remarkable 4-3 loss at the hands of Brentford, Ipswich have also put just five points on the board from a possible 30. Heading into October’s international break with a 4-1 drumming away at fellow strugglers West Ham, McKenna’s side have quickly gained a real reputation for their glaring defensive struggles. In fact, Ipswich have already conceded 21 Premier League goals and hold the second-worst defensive tally among England’s elite.

14:00 Manchester United vs Leicester

Still under the guidance of interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy this weekend, Manchester United will be desperate to end November’s fortnight interval with a Premier League boost. Although the Red Devils might have put a maiden European victory on the board in midweek as they secured a 2-0 win against Greek outfit PAOK, Sunday’s hosts have endured a real top-flight struggle this season. Still battling it out in the bottom-half of the table, they are eagerly awaiting Ruben Amorim’s arrival at Old Trafford. Winning just a trio of their first 10 Premier League appearances so far this season, United are searching for some crucial domestic stability. However, smelling a potential opportunity this weekend, van Nistelrooy’s temporary squad will be excited by their most recent showdown against Sunday’s guests. Extending on their EFL Cup adventure last week as they secured a thumping 5-2 win, the Reds will be calling on a repeat performance at Old Trafford here.

Although Leicester might have claimed back-to-back Premier League victories on either side of October’s international break, the Foxes have shown their own inconsistencies this season. While Steve Cooper’s side might have snatched a last-gasp equaliser away at Ipswich last weekend, Sunday’s guests have recorded just a pair of wins from any of their first 10 Premier League appearances. With many expecting Leicester to find themselves at the heart of a relegation scrap this year, the Blues have also put just a single top-flight clean sheet on the board so far. Falling to what was a disappointing 3-1 loss when they welcomed Nottingham Forest to the King Power last month, Cooper’s men should be concerned by a nightmare record against Sunday’s hosts. Including that action-packed 5-2 defeat when they travelled to Old Trafford last week, they have lost each of their previous three meetings against Manchester United by an aggregate score of 9-2.
