November 14th: Tuesday’s Daily Double – 3/1 Special, Tips & Predictions

While Europe’s elite might be closed for November’s international break, we still have plenty of intriguing contests throughout Tuesday night.

So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a Tuesday flutter, we have found a couple of interesting betting markets that are worth keeping an eye out for.

19:45 Burton vs Port Vale

Eventually forced to settle for a 0-0 stalemate when they travelled to Vale Park back on November 4th, Burton will be looking to finish off the job at the second attempt on Tuesday night. With their sights now firmly set on extending on their FA Cup adventure in midweek, Dino Maamria’s side do have the feel of a squad seeking a crucial boost.

Failing to pick up any momentum over the weekend as they slumped to a toothless 2-0 loss at the hands of Northampton, the Brewers are without a win from any of their previous five appearances across all formats.

Failing to build on their stellar purple patch, the Staffordshire-based outfit will certainly be excited by the prospect of making a return to home soil here.

In fact, along with a stunning 4-1 romp against Bristol Rovers last month, Burton have collected 13 points from their last five showdowns in front of their own supporters across all competitions.

On the flip side, missing on what they had billed as a golden chance at Vale Park earlier in the month, Andy Crosby’s side should face a stern challenge here.

Suffering last-gasp heartbreak away at Lincoln over the weekend as they eventually had to settle for a 1-1 stalemate, the Stoke-based outfit have now secured just a single win from any of their previous 11 appearances within 90 minutes.

With their recent issues highlighted by a 2-1 defeat away at Wrexham on November 7th, Port Vale have also gained a reputation for their extended issues on the road.

Including a 3-0 drumming against Bristol Rovers last month, Vale have recorded just a single away win since the start of September.

19:45 Rushall vs Alfreton

Although Alfreton might have suffered play-off heartbreak last season, Tuesday’s guests find themselves sat in pole position to clinch another top-seven finish this time around. Despite watching their stellar purple patch come to an abrupt end over the weekend, there is no doubt that Billy Heath’s side will be smelling the chance to claim an immediate response here.

While the Reds might have eventually fallen to a 3-1 loss at home against Scarborough on Saturday afternoon, the Derbyshire-based outfit have gained plenty of plaudits from across the National League North.

Opening November with a 4-0 romp away at Bishop Stortford, Alfreton have collected 12 points from their previous five sixth-tier showdowns – a run that stems back to October 21st.

Looking to sure up their place in the play-off hunt here, it should also be highlighted that the midweek guests have won three of their previous four appearances away from North Street.

On the flip side, although Rushall might have clinched a stellar National League North return this season, the Pics are firmly involved in a battle to keep hold of their sixth-tier status this time around.

Already scrapping it out in the drop zone, Tuesday’s hosts are also in the midst of what has been a worrying rut.

Last seen over the weekend getting hit with a 2-1 loss away at Warrington, Liam McDonald’s men have lost each of their last three National League North appearances by an aggregate score of 7-4.

Likewise, suffering a 2-1 defeat against King’s Lynn in their most recent showdown at Dales Lane, Rushall have also lost three of their last four contests in front of their own supporters.
