November 21st: Tuesday’s National League Double – 4/1 Special, Tips & Predictions

While the EURO 24 qualifiers might be drawing to a close on Tuesday night, we have a stacked National League schedule on the cards.

With a string of crucial showdowns at both ends of the table, we have found a couple of intriguing National League betting markets that are worth keeping an eye out for.

19:45 Eastleigh vs Boreham Wood

Although Eastleigh might have eventually missed out on the chance to book a play-off ticket last season, the Spitfires have their sights set on mounting another top-seven charge this time around. Turning a real corner over the past fortnight, Richard’s Hill should be smelling the chance to make another statement here.

Snatching a late winner over the weekend as they claimed a 2-1 victory against Altrincham, the Hampshire-based outfit will also be excited by their most recent showdown against Tuesday’s guests.

Extending on their FA Cup adventure on November 4th as they stormed their way to a stunning 5-1 romp against Boreham Wood, the Blues will also be excited by their continued success on home soil.

Including a 3-1 victory against York last month, Eastleigh have now won six of their previous seven showdowns in front of their own supporters – a run that stems all the way back to September 19th.

As for Tuesday’s guests, while Boreham Wood might have also opened the 2023/24 campaign dreaming of the chance to punch another play-off ticket, Luke Garrard’s side are enduring a major National League nightmare.

Looking over their shoulder at a looming relegation scrap and holding just a two-point buffer from slipping into the drop zone, the Hertfordshire-based outfit have clinched just a single win from any of their previous six appearances across all formats.

Crashing out of the FA Cup as they were hit with that infamous 5-1 drumming against the Spitfires have also continued to show some rather glaring issues on the road.

Recording just a single win away from Meadow Park since back on September 16th, Garrard’s downbeat squad should be bracing themselves for another stern examination on Tuesday night.

19:45 Ebbsfleet vs Maidenhead

While Maidenhead might still be looking over their shoulder at a potential National League relegation scrap, Tuesday’s guests have certainly claimed a recent boost. Despite opening up the 2023/24 campaign in the midst of a public struggle, Alan Devonshire’s side will be smelling the chance to make another fifth-tier statement here.

Last seen over the weekend putting in another eye-catching performance as they secured a 2-1 victory away at Solihull Moors, the Magpies have skyrocketed their way out of the drop zone.

Although Maidenhead might have watched their FA Cup adventure come to an end at the hands of League One outfit Oxford earlier in the month, the one-time West Ham midfielder should find the mood in his camp at a real high.

With their recent purple patch highlighted by an action-packed 3-2 victory against Eastleigh on October 28th, Tuesday’s guests have won each of their last three National League showdowns on the bounce.

On the flip side, although Ebbsfleet might have made their fifth-tier return this season, it is no secret that the Kent-based outfit are tipped as a leading relegation contender this time around.

Putting in a nightmare performance over the weekend as they suffered a 4-0 drumming at home against Oxford, Dennis Kutrieb’s side are without a win from any of their previous nine straight outings.

With that woeful rut stemming all the way back to September 30th, the midweek hosts have also gained a reputation for their rather glaring struggles at Stonebridge Road.

In fact, Ebbsfleet have lost each of their previous three National League showdowns on home soil by an aggregate score of 7-0.
