November 30th: Saturday’s Premier League Double – 7/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

After another action-packed midweek schedule from across the continent, all attention will turn back to the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

As Arsenal desperately seek to make up some ground in this season’s title chase, we also have some important showdowns from the other end of the table.

For those of you looking to stick on a weekend flutter, we have taken a look at some of the most appealing Premier League betting tips.

15:00 Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Putting in a downbeat display earlier in the week as they marked their return from November’s international break with a shock 2-0 loss at home against West Ham, Newcastle are seeking an immediate response here. Missing out on the chance to find a route into the European spots, Eddie Howe has found some increasing pressure on his shoulders. However, winning each of their final three showdowns prior to November’s fortnight interval and collecting some heavyweights scalps, Saturday’s guests are still dreaming of the chance to mount a genuine top-six charge. Laying down a stunning marker earlier in the month as they collected a 1-0 victory against Arsenal, Howe’s men will also be excited by their most recent battle away from St. James’ Park. Storming their way to an eye-catching 3-1 victory against Nottingham Forest, the former Bournemouth boss will be demanding a repeat performance on Saturday afternoon.

Although Crystal Palace might have eventually clung to a thrilling 2-2 stalemate away at Aston Villa last weekend, the Eagles find themselves at the heart of a real struggle. Showing a string of issues since opening up the new campaign, Oliver Glasner’s men are at the heart of a relegation scrap and are desperately seeking some kind of stability. Putting just eight points on the board from any of their first 12 Premier League appearances so far this season, the former Eintracht Frankfurt boss will have a real headache over his side’s extended defensive struggles. Heading into November’s fortnight break with a worrying 2-0 loss at home against local rivals Fulham, Crystal Palace have recorded just a sole clean sheet from any of their last eight meetings against Premier League opposition. It should also be noted, Glasner’s side have shipped a pair of goals in each of their previous three top-flight showdowns.

15:00 Brentford vs Leicester

Although some in Brentford’s camp might have been disappointed last weekend as they had to settle for a 0-0 stalemate away at Everton, the Bees have once again gained plenty of plaudits this season. Looking to drag themselves into the top-half of the table, Thomas Frank’s men will certainly be excited to make a return to west London here. Heading into November’s fortnight interval with an action-packed 3-2 victory against Bournemouth, Saturday’s hosts have gained quite the reputation for their success on home soil. Including a remarkable 4-3 win against Ipswich last month, Brentford have won each of their last three Premier League showdowns at the Gtech by an aggregate score of 12-8. Likewise, it should also be noted, Frank’s side have remarkably picked up 16 points from their first six top-flight matchups in front of their own supporters. With their sights set on booking a top-half finish, the Bees should be smelling a golden opportunity here.

Marking their return from November’s international break with a 2-1 loss at home against Chelsea, that result was enough to cost Steve Cooper his job at the King Power. While the Foxes might have only made their Premier League return this season, it appears that they have a real battle on their hands in the race to keep hold of their top-flight status. Heading into November’s fortnight interval with a routine 3-0 drumming at the hands of Manchester United, Saturday’s guests have collected just a single point from any of their previous four Premier League appearances. Likewise, crashing out of the EFL Cup last month following a 5-2 defeat at Old Trafford, the Foxes have shown some glaring issues at the back. In fact, the relegation scrappers have shipped at least a pair of goals in five of their last six matchups across all competitions.
