November 9th: Saturday’s Football Accumulator – 10/1

With all of Europe’s elite set for one more round of fixtures before heading into November’s international break, we have a stacked schedule from across the continent.

Watching the likes of La Liga, Serie A and the Premier League steal centre stage this weekend, there are a host of noteworthy showdowns across Saturday afternoon.

So, for those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have taken an in-depth look at some of the most appealing European betting tips.

Saturday, November 9th

BST 13:00 Real Madrid vs Osasuna

While Real Madrid might have made real history last season as they were crowned both European and domestic champions, Los Blancos have shown some real issues this time around. Signing off October with an infamous 4-0 drumming at the hands of bitter arch-rivals Barcelona, Carlo Ancelotti suddenly has some real pressure on his shoulders in the Spanish capital. Likewise, enduring a stuttering start to their Champions League adventure this year, Saturday’s hosts put in yet another worrying performance in midweek. Eventually falling to a 3-1 defeat against AC Milan, Madrid have now suffered consecutive losses in front of their own supporters over the past four years. Remarkably sat nine points adrift of Barcelona in this season’s title chase, Ancelotti’s side have also gained a reputation for their glaring defensive struggles. Despite mounting a European comeback last month as they clinched a 5-2 victory against Borussia Dortmund, Los Blancos have remarkably recorded just a single clean sheet from any of their previous 10 appearances across all competitions.

Although Osasuna might travel to the Spanish capital on Saturday afternoon pencilled in as a landslide underdog, Los Rojillos have continued on a real La Liga flurry this season. While Vicente Moreno’s men might have been left disappointed last season as they missed out on a top-half finish, the Navarre-based outfit suddenly have their sights set on mounting a genuine European charge this year. With just their goal difference keeping them outside the Champions League spots, Osasuna have won each of their previous three domestic appearances across all competitions by an aggregate score of 8-0. Making a real statement on October 27th as they clinched a 2-0 win away at Real Sociedad, Saturday’s guests find the mood in their camp at a real high. In fact, Moreno’s side have lost just one of their last eight straight matchups – a run that stems back to a 3-1 loss against Rayo Vallecano on September 16th.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 13/11

17:00 Cagliari vs AC Milan

While AC Milan might have initially struggled to find their feet following Paulo Fonseca’s arrival over the summer, the Rossoneri have certainly turned a real corner. Enjoying what has been a major flurry since returning from October’s international break, the former Lille boss will be calling on his high-flying squad to make another statement here. Springing a famous Champions League upset on Tuesday night as they stormed their way to a 3-1 romp away at Real Madrid, Fonseca’s men have now won four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Desperate to make up some ground in the top-four chase this weekend, AC Milan will certainly be excited by a dominant record against Saturday’s hosts. Claiming a 5-1 win when they last met Cagliari back on May 11th, the Rossoneri have won each of their last five straight domestic showdowns against the Serie A relegation scrappers by an aggregate score of 17-4. Clearly enjoying life under Fonseca’s guidance, Milan should be smelling another opportunity here.

Although Cagliari might have found a much-welcomed Serie A boost on either side of October’s international break, the Islanders have come crashing back down to earth. Last seen falling to a 2-1 loss away at Lazio, Davide Nicola’s men have come tumbling down the Serie A table and are now looking over their shoulder at another top-flight relegation scrap. Now losing each of their previous three straight appearances by an aggregate score of 6-1, the former Torino boss appears to have a real job on his hands at the Unipol Domus. Opening up this weekend’s fixtures holding just a one-point buffer from dropping into the relegation zone, Saturday’s hosts are desperately seeking some crucial defensive steel. Including another 2-0 loss against Udinese last month, Cagliari have conceded at least a pair of goals in all of their four showdowns since returning from October’s fortnight interval. Likewise, losing three of their previous four Serie A matchups in front of their own supporters, Nicola’s side face another stern test.

Tip: AC Milan win & Both teams to score @ 21/10

17:30 Aberdeen vs Dundee FC

While Aberdeen might have watched their League Cup adventure come to an end last weekend as they fell to a 6-0 drumming at the hands of Celtic, the Dons have only continued on a famous Premiership romp. Embarking on what has become a remarkable rise following Jimmy Thelin’s arrival at Pittodrie over the summer, Saturday’s hosts have rightfully receive a string of plaudits from across Scotland’s elite. Signing off October with a stunning 2-1 victory at home against Rangers, the Dons have collected 28 points from their first 10 Premiership appearances and they have only dropped points on a single occasion. Opening up this weekend’s fixtures with just their goal difference keeping them off the top of the table, Aberdeen are riding a sensational wave of momentum. At the heart of what has become a famous title scrap and heading into October’s international break with an action-packed 3-2 win against Hearts, Thelin’s high-flying squad will be looking to make another domestic statement on Saturday evening.

Making a much-welcomed return to winning ways last week as they secured a pulsating 3-2 win at home against Kilmarnock, Dundee will be desperate to use that dramatic comeback as a platform to build on. However, although the Dark Blues might still find themselves battling it out in the top-half of the table, Tony Docherty’s men have continued to show some glaring issues on either side of October’s international break. Heading into November with a 2-0 loss at the hands of defending champions Celtic, Saturday’s guests should be bracing themselves for another stern examination this weekend. Crashing out of the League Cup on September 21st following a 3-0 defeat against Rangers, Dundee have lost six of their previous eight appearances across all competitions. Likewise, Docherty’s camp have registered just a pair of wins from any of their previous 10 consecutive matchups. Falling to a 2-1 loss when they last met Aberdeen back on September 28th, we are expecting a similar outcome here.

Tip: Aberdeen win @ 8/11
