Nuri Sahin completes Real Madrid move

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has signed a six-year deal with Real Madrid, the Spanish club have confirmed.

Real Madrid have revealed that they have signed Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund.

The transfer is thought to be worth around €12 million, with the player signing a six-year contract with los Blancos.

“It’s one of the best clubs in the world and this is a leap in my career,” Sahin told reporters at Signal-Iduna Park.

“It was impossible to say no to the club and to its sporting project. I was only going to leave Dortmund for a club capable of wining as many titles as Madrid.”

Sahin says it was not an easy decision to leave Dortmund.

“It was a difficult decision, I’m sad. I decided to take this decision together with the club.”
