Nuri Sahin set for Borussia return; Palermo’s Balzaretti closing in on PSG move

Nuri Sahin set for Borussia return

Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin could return to Borussia Dortmund, German daily Bild reveals.

Sahin joined Real Madrid from Borussia in the summer, but has so far played just over 20 minutes in La Liga.

After missing the first part of the season through injury, the Turkish midfielder looks unable to break into the starting line-up.

He has mostly been used in Cup competitions this season, and Jose Mourinho could decide to cash in on the player come end of the season.

Borussia Dortmund chiefs are very interested in re-signing the Turkish midfielder and they could make an official bid next summer.

After agreeing to sign Marco Reus, the German giants believe that Nuri Sahin would be the last piece of the puzzle and are ready to offer €20 million for the player’s services.

The 23-year-old is tied to los Blancos until June 2017, but could be interested in a return to Dortmund.

Palermo’s Balzaretti closing in on PSG move

Former Palermo official has revealed that full-back Federico Balzaretti is likely to join Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

The former Italy international is looking for a new challenge and he has been linked with a number of high-profile sides.

Serie A giants Napoli are reportedly very interested in the 30-year-old, but former Palermo sporting director says that Balzaretti is likely to move to Paris.

“I would advise Napoli to sign him, but I think that he’s already agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain,” Rino Foschi told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“They already wanted him last summer and I do believe that he will head for Paris at the end of the present campaign.”

The full-back has been an integral part of the starting line-up at Renzo Barbera ever since he made a switch from Fioretina in January 2008.

Agent rules out Lukaku exit

The agent of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has moved to deny reports that his client will be farmed out on loan in January.

The Belgian wonderkid arrived to Stamford Bridge in a €22 million move in the summer, but he hasn’t had a perfect start to his career in England.

The 18-year-old amassed less than 50 minutes in the Premier League this season, which led to speculations that he could be allowed to leave on loan in January.

However, the player’s agent rules out such a possibility, for two reasons.

“His departure is not expected for two reasons,” Christophe Henrotay told Fichajes.

“First, because Chelsea do not want to let him go.

”But mostly because he cannot, as he has played with two different clubs this season.”:

The youngster started two games for Anderlecht before making a switch to Chelsea at the start to the season, meaning that he cannot play for another club this term.
