Nuri Sahin set for permanent Dortmund move

German daily newspaper Bild has learned that Borussia Dortmund will turn Nuri Sahin’s loan deal into permanent move in the summer.

The Turkey international returned to Signal-Iduna Park following an unsuccessful spell at Real Madrid, joining the club on an 18-month loan deal.

And having rediscovered his form in the Bundesliga, Bild has suggested Borussia Dortmund are set to make his stay permanent at the end of the current campaign.

The Millionaires are set to exercise the clause in his deal allowing them to buy out his contract for around €7 million.

Nuri Sahin has been in fine form this season, making 24 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 2 goals, while starting all seven Champions League matches for the club.

Borussia are on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals having recorded a 4-2 triumph over Zenit in the first leg and they are 2/7 to win the return match as well.
