An extra-time brace from Jon Nurse helped Dagenham and Redbridge defeat Bath 3-2 in an FA Cup second-round reply on Wednesday.
The teams played out a 1-1 draw in their first meeting on November 12, leading to a second instalment of the tie, this time at Twerton Park.
And it was visitors Dagenham who opened the scoring 20 minutes into the re-match, thanks to a goal from Brian Woodall.
They held the lead at the break and well into the second half, but Adam Connolly levelled for the hosts with 19 minutes to go.
Neither side proved able to find a winner in the time remaining, forcing the replay into extra-time.
Nurse restored the visitors’ lead in the 100th minute, and he then put the result beyond doubt, scoring his second and Dagenham’s third with six minutes left in the additional 30.
Also on Wednesday, Walsall came from behind to defeat Exeter City 3-2 at home after extra time.
Exeter led through Richard Logan’s goal five minutes before half-time at the Bescot Stadium.
Former Manchester City striker Jonathan Macken equalised for Walsall three minutes past the hour mark.
And just six minutes later, the hosts were in front, with Alex Nicholls making it 2-1 to Walsall.
Elliott Frear levelled for Exeter on 77 minutes, and the final 13 minutes failed to produce a winner, sending the match into extra-time.
George Bowerman settled it when he scored for Walsall on 98 minutes.
The League One club will now travel to face Dagenham on December 3, with a place in the third round up for grabs at Victoria Road.
