According to a recent report from ESPN, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is eager to move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.
Oblak has long since been viewed as one of the best goalkeepers in world football and as of this writing, he has been one of the driving forces behind Atletico leading the La Liga title race. Regardless of whether or not they’re able to hold onto their advantage in that regard, though, it does seem as if the Premier League is on his mind.
Given the fact three of the four finalists in the Champions League and Europa League this season have been from England, it’s not exactly hard to see why.
Oblak would be a great signing for any club in the top flight but if he’s serious about making the move, he first needs to focus on completing his duties with Atletico Madrid.
