October 26th: Saturday’s Premier League Accumulator – 9/1

With this season’s Premier League title chase taking a dramatic turn last weekend, all eyes will fall on England’s elite throughout Saturday afternoon.

With defending champions Manchester City looking to force their way back to the top of the pile, we have five Premier League showdowns on the cards.

For those of you looking to stick on a Saturday acca, we have taken a look at three of the most appealing Premier League betting tips.

Saturday, October 26th

BST 15:00 Aston Villa vs Bournemouth

Only continuing on their iconic Champions League adventure earlier in the week as they secured a 2-0 victory against Italian outfit Bologna, Aston Villa are in the midst of a real fairytale. Embarking on what has been an astonishing rise since Unai Emery’s arrival in the Midlands last year, Saturday’s hosts find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. Making what was an astonishing statement on October 2nd as they secured a 1-0 win against German giants Bayern Munich, the former Arsenal boss has seen his squad gain a string of plaudits from across the continent. Marking their return from October’s international break with an impressive 3-1 romp away at Fulham, Villa are certainly firing on all cylinders. With their sights firmly set on securing another famous top-four finish this season, it should also be highlighted that Emery’s side have collected 13 points from their previous five home fixtures across all competitions.

Causing what a sensational upset last weekend as they marked their respective return from October’s international break with a 2-0 victory at home against title contenders Arsenal, Bournemouth will be desperate to use that performance as a platform to build on. However, winning just a trio of their first nine appearances across all competitions, it is no secret that Andoni Iraola’s men are seeking some crucial stability. Last seen on there travels entering October’s fortnight interval with a toothless 1-0 loss against Premier League returners Leicester, the former Rayo Vallecano boss has seen his squad lose three of their previous four showdowns away form the Vitality, Crashing out of the EFL Cup at the end of August as they fell to a late 1-0 defeat against West Ham, it should also be noted that Bournemouth slumped to a 3-1 loss when they last travelled to Villa Park back on April 21st.

Tip: Aston Villa win @ 10/11

15:00 Brentford vs Ipswich

Marking their return from October’s international break with a second-half collapse at Old Trafford as they eventually fell to a 2-1 loss against Manchester United, Brentford will be seeking an immediate response this weekend. Heading into the fortnight interval with an action-packed 5-3 victory against Wolves, Thomas Frank’s men have their sights firmly set on snapping up a top-half finish this season. Although Saturday’s hosts might be seeking some welcomed defensive resolve, the Bees will be excited by their continued success in west London. Getting proceedings underway with a 2-1 win against local rivals Crystal Palace, Brentford have collected 10 points from their first four Premier League showdowns at the Gtech. Likewise, extending on their EFL Cup adventure on September 17th as they secured a 3-1 win against Leyton Orient, it should be highlighted that Frank’s side have suffered just a single defeat in front of their own supporters since the middle of February.

Although Ipswich might have gained plenty of plaudits since making their iconic Premier League return this season, Ipswich have a real battle on their hands. Marking their return from October’s international break with a worrying 2-0 defeat at home against Everton, Saturday’s guests have failed to collect a single victory from any of their first eight top-flight appearances. Pencilled in as a leading relegation contender this year, Kieran McKenna’s men have also shown some extended issues at the back. Heading into October’s fortnight interval with a 4-1 drumming at the hands of West Ham, Ipswich should have another real challenge on their hands this weekend. In fact, the one-time Manchester United coach has seen his downbeat squad concede 16 Premier League strikes so far this season. Crashing out of the EFL Cup on August 28th following an infamous penalties defeat against AFC Wimbledon, we are backing a home victory here.

Tip: Brentford win @ 3/4

15:00 Brighton vs Wolves

Although Brighton might have only appointed new boss Fabian Hurzeler over the summer, the Seagulls have only continued to shine under the former St. Pauli boss. Flying out of the traps since opening up the new campaign, Saturday’s hosts open up this weekend’s fixtures sat within striking distance of skyrocketing into the Champions League spots. Making a real statement in their return from October’s international break last week as they secured an eye-catching 1-0 win away at Newcastle, the mood around the Amex appears to be at a red-hot high. Mounting an astonishing comeback against Tottenham prior to October’s fortnight interval as they secured a 3-2 victory on home soil, Brighton have suffered just a single defeat from any of their first 10 appearances across all competitions. Riding what has been a major wave of momentum, Hurzeler’s side should be smelling another golden opportunity here.

Suffering last-gasp heartbreak as they marked their return from October’s international break with a controversial 2-1 loss at home against Manchester City, Wolves find themselves at the heart of a public Premier League crisis. Heading into the fortnight interval with an action-packed 5-3 loss at the hands of Brentford, Gary O’Neil’s men find themselves sat rock-bottom of the table and pencilled in as a leading relegation contender this year. Despite getting proceedings underway with a 1-1 stalemate against Nottingham Forest on August 31st, that is the only point that Wolves have put on the board from any of their first eight Premier League appearances. Desperately seeking some kind of boost, the former Bournemouth boss will have a real headache over his side’s glaring defensive struggles. Including a 3-1 defeat against local rivals Aston Villa last month, Saturday’s guests have already conceded 23 Premier League strikes.
