Odegaard could leave Real Madrid

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard has lost the trust of manager Zinedine Zidane.

The midfielder has not featured since back at the start of December due to injury, but now, it doesn’t appear as if there is a place for him at the Bernabeu.

Zidane himself has been guilty of judging players too quickly in the past but when you think about the rollercoaster ride that Odegaard has been on over the years, it does make you wonder whether or not Zidane has finally decided he isn’t someone he wants to be starting on a regular basis.

Odegaard has found success elsewhere before and if he isn’t going to be appreciated by Real, then perhaps he’s going to test the waters abroad – or maybe even with another Spanish club. Either way, the January and summer transfer windows could be huge for his future.
