Odegaard to help Real with Haaland?

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are hoping that Martin Odegaard can help persuade Erling Haaland to join the club.

Odegaard and Haaland are teammates within the Norway national team and reportedly have a close friendship, and Real are hoping that can be the key behind them getting Haaland over to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Haaland is currently enjoying a strong spell with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and with each and every passing week, it becomes more and more obvious that he has what it takes to become one of the best strikers in the world – if he isn’t already.

Some may choose to believe that this isn’t the best strategy if they’re serious about bringing Haaland over to the club, but you’d have to think there is some level of method to the madness.

Either way, the race to sign Haaland is going to be a fascinating one whenever he decides to move on from Dortmund.
