Australian star Mark Bresciano has officially completed his transfer from Palermo to Lazio. The 30 year old midfielder has signed a three year contract with Lazio that will keep him at the Stadio Olimpico till 2013. Bresciano will earn around 1 million euros a season with the Biancocelesti.
Lazio will be the fourth Italian club to be represented by Bresciano. He left his native Australia in 1999 to join Empoli. Three years later he completed a high profile 7 million euro switch to Parma. After the end of the 2006 World Cup, he signed for Palermo.
Bresciano, who was part of the Australian team at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, is partly of Italian descent and also holds an Italian passport.
