Mario Balotelli could soon be given a familiar companion at OGC Nice as the French hot-shots are rumoured to be interested in former Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The Argentina forward is currently plying his trade with the Chinese side Hebei China Fortune, but could be set for a swift return to Europe after only nine months spent in the East.
The Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport has picked up on rumours claiming that Chien Lee and Alex Zheng who own 80% of OGC Nice shares could make the deal happen during the January transfer window, when the 31-year-old forward could join Mario Balotelli in the attack of the Ligue 1 outfit.
Ezequiel Lavezzi would be an immediate fit in the French League 1 having spent four years with the champions PSG before his February move to China.
Lavezzi is currently enduring a difficult time in his new club as he is yet to score in 10 games so far.
