Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka Chuka will be leaving the club at the end of the season, his official representative has revealed.
The talented forward was on the radar of several top sides this winter, but he eventually remained at Marassi despite clashing with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
However, it appears that Okaka still hopes to leave Sampdoria for greener pastures, with summer exit on the cards.
“In the summer I’m hoping to bring Stefano to a big team,” agent Andrea Cattoli explained to Tuttosport.
“He was already in the eyes of other teams now, including Milan, but the operation was tied to the departure of other players.”
Stefano Okaka began his professional career at AS Roma, but he only managed 32 league appearances during the eight years at Stadio Olimpico, while enjoying loan stints with Modena, Brescia, Fulham, Bari and Parma.
The 25-year-old finally managed to kick-start his career at Sampdoria, where he scored 8 goals in 34 league outings.
Having slipped to fifth in the league standings following a heavy loss to Torino, the Bluecerchiati can be backed at 4/5 to defeat Sassuolo next weekend.
