According to Sky Italia, Ola Aina has joined Torino on a season-long loan with an option for the Italian club to purchase him from Chelsea. The 21-year-old has been on the books at Old Trafford since way back in 2007, although since being promoted to a senior player in 2015, he hasn’t been given too many chances to shine as a first-team star.
He certainly made the most of his opportunity with Hull City last season, but the Nigerian international still hasn’t been able to crack his way into what is a very competitive Chelsea setup. With Torino, however, he’ll be given a chance to shine in a league that is quickly becoming one of the most watched in world football.
Chelsea are coming off the back of an impressive opening day victory in the Premier League, whereas Torino will be looking to improve on their 9th place finish in Serie A last season.
