Benfica winger Ola John is being mentioned as a possible target for Orlando City, according to A Bola.
The MLS side are already in talks with central midfielder Ruben Amorim, but they are now ready to make a move on another Eagles player.
Orlando City have expressed desire to recruit Ola John this summer, but they could face stiff competition from other interested sides.
Namely, the likes of Swansea, Crystal Palace and PSV Eindhoven are all keen on the 23-year-old footballer.
Ola John joined Benfica from Twente as one of Netherlands’ hottest talents three years ago, but he has so far failed to prove his worth at Estadio da Luz.
The winger started mere 24 league games for the Eagles, while also enjoying a short loan spell with Hamburg.
John, who has been capped once by Netherlands, played himself back into the first team plans of Jorge Jesus in the second part of last season, but he now needs to prove new coach Rui Vitoria that he warrants a place in the starting line-up.
