Two sides that find themselves firmly at the heart of a relegation battle, on Wednesday night Oldham will welcome Walsall to Boundary Park with just a single spot separating the two sides.

With Oldham appointing Richie Wellens to guide the Latics away from the drop zone back in October, Oldham, much like last season find themselves in a battle at the foot of the table. Now with just a two-point buffer over the drop zone, the Latics have begun to find some form and will be confident of carrying on their recent success. While forward Erhun Oztumer has 14 goals in League One this season, the striker has three goals in his last 13 games, with all of those coming in a single match. It will be their away form that Keates will also be desperate to improve on, Walsall have one win in their last 10 away matches, losing six and drawing three.
