Croatian striker Ivica Olic has warned Bayern chiefs that he will not wait until the end of the season to be offered a new contract.
After expressing his desire to leave the club, the 32-year-old ha changed his mind and now wants to remain at Alianz Arena.
His current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, but Bayern officials are not prepared to discuss the contract extension before May.
However, with offers from abroad flying in, Olic is eager to sort out his future in January.
“I do not want to decide anything without talking to Bayern,” Olic told Bild.
“But, I will not wait until May, when Bayern intend to talk to me. I have a big family, we want to plan our future.
”I’d love to stay. But not only for a year.”
