The Greek Super League is everything but decided after Olympiakos’ 0-1 win over Athens rivals and leaders Panathinaikos on Sunday.
Panathinaikos began the day with a seven-points advantage over Olympiakos, and a win would have left the competition all but decided.
But at Athens’ Stadio Spyros Louis it was Olympiakos to scored the only goal of the match through Matt Derbyshire in the 67th minute.
Olympiakos climb to second place as PAOK suffered a 0-1 defeat to AEK, a result Panathinaikos will also be glad about.
The only goal in this match was scored by AEK’s Ismael Blanco in the 15th minute.
