Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus have signed midfielder Dudu Cearense, who will be making the move from CSKA Moscow.
The 25 year old Brazilian, whose real name is Alexandro Silva de Sousa, first left his home country in 2004 to join Kashiwa Reysol. That same year he came to Europe to play for Stade de Rennes.
The central midfielder would only spend a few months in France, before joining CSKA Moscow in 2005. In 74 games at the Russian side, he scored seven goals.
Olympiakos showed their interest before in 2007, but then failed to sign the player. A six-million-Euros offer was enough to be more successful this year.
The news follows the announcement of Liverpool’s Sebastián Leto’s move to the Greek club.
