Olympiakos stun helpless Benfica

Olympiakos have moved into third place in UEFA Cup Group B with an impressive 5-1 win over Benfica Lisbon on Thursday.

Not even a minute had been played when Galletti put the Greeks ahead and Patsatzoglou made it 2-0 in the 18th minute.

Diogo added a third six minutes later, although David Luiz soon brought the gap back to two. Goals from Belluschi and Diogo in the 44th and 53rd minutes respectively then left the visitors gasping for air.

Olympiakos, who lost their first game to Galataraway are now third in this group at three points from the Turks. The Greeks to have a game in hand. Benfica have only one point from three games and seem to be on their way out.
