Olympiakos were the better side in the Greek top clash with PAOK Saloniki, beating their rivals 1-2. Panathinaikos defeated Aris 2-1 to maintain their Super League lead.
PAOK started well against defending champions Olympiakos, with Vieirinha opening the score after 10 minutes.
But Diogo equalised four minutes before the break and Avram Papadopoulos got a late winner to hand Olympiakos three valuable points, while PAOK suffered their first defeat of the season.
The other Saloniki team, Aris, initially took a 0-1 lead at Panathinaikos through Ronaldo in the 36th minute. An own goal from Sebastian Abreu leveled the score shortly before the interval however, and Kostas Katsouranis netted the winning goal for the home team with seven minutes to go.
Panathinaikos remain on top with 12 points from four games, followed by Asteras Tripolis who have eight. Olympiakos and AEK, who drew 1-1 at PAS Giannina, are among a number of teams that have seven points, but both Athens giants have a game in hand.
