On January 4th, 2012, Everton faced Bolton Wanderers at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Goalkeeper Tim Howard scored this freak goal, clearing his box and sending the ball towards the opposition net, and beating the confused Adam Bogdan at the other end.

Bogdan will have been grateful to teammates David Ngog and Gary Cahill, who both later beat Howard to turn the game around.
