Origi cools Juventus link

The Metro understands that Liverpool forward Divock Origi has dismissed speculation linking his with a move to Juventus.

The Belgium international has failed to hold down a regular first team place since signing from Lille but is keen to stay with the Merseyside outfit to fight for his place.

Since arriving at Anfield, the twenty-one year old has racked up thirty appearances in all competitions, scoring twelve goals having initially rejoined Lille on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.

He has been capped a total of twenty-one times for his country, scoring for them three times and was part of their squads for the World Cup finals in Brazil two years ago and this summer’s European Championships in France.

Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Swansea City last time out to move to within two points of Premier League leaders Manchester City and can now be backed at 4/1 to win the league.
