French newspaper L’Equipe understands that Lille forward Divock Origi has yet to make a decision on his future.
Liverpool are believed to have submitted a €14 million offer for the youngster’s services, with the Reds prepared to loan the player back to les Dogues for the 2014/2015 season.
And while the Ligue 1 side seem prepared to accept the proposal, L’Equipe has learned that the player himself will not be making a decision until after the 2014 World Cup.
Origi has been putting in some strong performances for Belgium at the 2014 World Cup after he was a surprise inclusion in Marc Wilmots’ squad, and he could even be preferred to Romelu Lukaku for the Last 16 stage clash against USA, where the Red Devils are 19/20 favourites to win.
Despite playing on the left wing at Lille, the youngster has impressed in a centre forward role for Belgium and even scored the winner in the second group game against Russia.
