Origi & Shaqiri to leave Liverpool?

According to a recent report from ESPN, Liverpool are open to offers for both Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Both men could be up for sale during the January transfer window, and while the Reds may have been considering this for a while, the timing does seem a little odd. The club are currently in the midst of a horrendous injury crisis and while some players are set to return in the coming weeks, it can’t hurt to have squad players like Shaqiri and Origi on the books.

Origi alone holds an incredibly special place in the hearts of Liverpool fans around the world due to some of his hugely important goals over the last few years. On the flip side, Shaqiri has surprised an awful lot of people with his ability to come into the Liverpool side and really do some damage.

Whether or not it’ll last, though, is another matter altogether.
