The MLS side Orlando City are said to be closing on a deal with Senegalese centre-back Lamine Sane, according to numerous reports arriving from the USA.
The Werder Bremen defender fell out of club’s favour after missing out on two consecutive days of training without leave from the club management earlier this season which forced club sporting director Frank Baumann to suspend the defender.
Sane’s future has been the subject of intense speculation during the winter transfer market as Werder Bremen defender was widely expected to move to France but with transfer window for European countries long closed Sane still managed to work out a move away from Werder.
Orlando City FC are said to be in final stages of negotiations with the player who is expected to join up with his new teammates less than two weeks before the new MLS season opens.
