Cerezo Osaka midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake is Europe-bound after his club came to an agreement with Nuremburg, according to a report.
The 22-year-old Japan international had long been expected to make the move following this year’s London Olympics.
A gifted attacker, Kiyotake has 17 goals in 91 appearances in the J-League’s top division.
The three-year deal will cost Nuremburg – who were only able to sign Kiyotake after guaranteeing a spot in next season’s Bundesliga – about 1.2 million euros in transfer fees, according to Nikkan.
Kiyotake’s last match for Cerezo is expected to be on June 30 at home to Urawa Reds, before he will fly to Germany to undergo a medical.
