While Uruguayan striker Walter Pandiani had his named linked to two English sides by media this week, Osasuna deny having received serious offers.
Rumours linked Pandiani to both Fulham and Premiership newcomers Hull City, but this was denied by Osasuna chairman Patxi Izco on Thursday. The president did reveal that English clubs showed interest, but an official offer has yet to be made.
Pandiani, born in Montevideo, came to Europe in 2000 to play for Deportivo la Coruña. After spells at Mallorca, Birmingham and Espanyol, the forward ended up at Osasuna where he scored twice in seventeen appearances so far.
