La Liga side CA Osasuna have completed the signing of tall Serbian striker Dejan Lekic from Red Star Belgrade. According to reports, Osasuna have paid Red Star 2.6 million euros for the 25 year old’s services. Lekic has signed a five year contract with Osasuna and his minimum fee release clause has been fixed at 12 million euros.
Lekic had joined Red Star only last year from FK Zemun. Prior to Zemun, he had also played for Metalac Kraljevo and FK Popovići. Lekic has a good scoring record in his native Serbia- he averages a goal approximately every two games.
Lekic has also been capped by the Serbian national team, but was not part of the team that competed at the 2010 World Cup.
