Victor Osimhen has no intention whatsoever to leave Napoli any time soon, his representative Roberto Calenda has told Radio Kiss Kiss.
The 23-year-old striker has played a big part in Napoli’s rise under Luciano Spaletti, leading the front line after the departures of long-term stars Arkadiusz Milik and Lorenzo Insigne. He missed a total of six games through injury and has played twice since returning to the fold, and scored on both occasions. Overall, he has four goals and one assist in eight appearances in all competitions.
“There are many clubs interested in Victor but he wants to stay, Calenda said. “He is really happy with the Napoli project.”
The agent also added that the rumours which linked his client with Manchester United in some form of a swap involving Cristiano Ronaldo were properly addressed and dismissed.
“We’ve been very clear this summer after strange rumours. He wanted to stay.”
The current contract binding the Nigeria international to Napoli has just under three years left to run.
