Osvaldo agrees Boca Juniors switch

Argentine giants Boca Juniors are set to complete the loan signing of Southampton striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, according to Ole.

La Xeneize have agreed a six-month loan with the Premier League side after the player’s stint with Inter Milan was terminated, while the deal could be extended until 5th August in case Boca qualify for the Copa Libertadores semi-finals.

Osvaldo is expected in Argentina on Tuesday, when he will undergo a medical and sign a contract at La Bombonera.

This will undoubtedly be a great signing for the Argentine giants ahead of the new season, even if forwards Jonathan Calleri and Emmanuel Giglioti did pretty well last term.

Pablo Osvaldo was in fine form during a short loan spell with Inter Milan, scoring 5 goals in as many league starts, but it was his unprofessional behaviour that cut short his stay at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Italy international recently expressed his desire to return to Argentina and is now set to be granted his wish.
