Southampton striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has been the subject of interest from Inter Milan, according to Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for a new striker and the Italy international appears to be the first name on their hit-list.
Walter Mazzarri knows the player well from his time at Roma, and has been impressed by the player’s performances at centre forward as well as second striker.
The problem is that Southampton are not too keen on selling their prized asset just six months after signing him from Roma, but Inter are not yet prepared to give up on his signature.
Pablo Osvaldo hasn’t quite proved his worth at St Mary’s, netting only once in nine Premier League appearances, but he is still held in high regard by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
After losing to Arsenal at the weekend, the Saints are 4/1 to finish the Premier League campaign in top 6.
