Osvaldo on Zenit radar

Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Zenit St Petersburg have joined the chase for Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.

It is no secret that both the player and his employers are looking to end their cooperation this summer following numerous incidents between the Italy international and club fans.

Southampton were one of the first sides to show interest in the 27-year-old attacker, but Sky Sport Italia understands that Zenit are also keen.

The Russian giants are somewhat short of options up front as they lack a decent replacement for star striker Alexander Kerzhakov and they could decide to make a move on the Roma forward.

Pablo Daniel Osvaldo joined the Giallorossi in a mega money deal from Espanyol, but he has managed to prove his worth at Stadio Olimpico.

The Italy international went on to make 55 Serie A appearances for the club, scoring no less than 27 goals in the process.
