Borussia Dortmund wonder boy Ousmane Dembele is in Manchester.
The talented French forward had a dinner with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on Monday night as Citizens attempt to wrap up a deal for one of Europe’s hottest properties, French media outlet Le 10 Sport has exclusively reported.
The 20-year-old is currently on vacation but took a break from his summer plans to sit down with former Barcelona manager who introduced him to Manchester City plans and projects and apparently made a proposal to the French forward to join the club.
At this point, it is still unclear whether Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund have an agreement in place, but these bold claims have certainly shed a different light on the entire Ousmane Dembele transfer race.
Dembele only arrived in Dortmund last year for €15 million, but his stellar rise to prominence with 8 goals and 18 assists in Bundesliga last season made him one of the most sought-after commodities in world football.
