In what could prove to be a very lively encounter in Nevada, Reno 1868 will host Tacoma Defiance in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Starting with the hosts, while many around Nevada may have believed that Reno 1868 could pull off a remarkable late charge up the Western Conference, Head Coach Ian Russell has seen his side come crashing back down to earth. Suffering a 3-2 loss against Frenso over the weekend, the former title challengers are in the midst of a four-match losing run and have seen any chance of a late push now in tatters. Without a win to their name since the start of August, a huge part of their continued struggles has come down to some glaring defensive issues.
